✦ INSIGHTS
Thinking for decisions that don’t come with easy answers.
This is where I look more closely at the evidence, assumptions, and organizational realities behind a decision.
These are some of the questions I keep coming back to.
01
When the data isn’t the decision
Good evidence can narrow the possibilities without making the decision for you. I look at what the data supports, what it doesn’t, and where judgement still has to enter the room.
02
When the people problem isn’t HR
A problem may arrive through an employee, a manager, or a team without beginning there. I look beyond the symptom to the structure, expectations, incentives, and operating conditions around it.
03
Risk hides in the handoffs
Some of the most consequential risks don’t belong neatly to one function. I look at the handoffs between people, processes, and decisions, because that’s often where accountability blurs and exposure grows.
✦ WHAT I’M LOOKING AT
What I’m seeing.
What I’m questioning.
Some questions deserve more than an immediate answer. This is where I’ll share research, analysis, and observations from practice about the problems I keep seeing, the assumptions worth testing, and the evidence that changes how I think about them.
No publishing schedule for the sake of having one. If I have something useful to say, you’ll find it here.
✦ SOMETHING HERE SOUND FAMILIAR?
Some questions are worth looking at together.
You don’t need to have the problem neatly defined before reaching out. If something isn’t adding up, we can start there.
